We invite you to let Micromeritics take-back and properly recycle Micromeritics instruments shipped to you between July 22, 2017 and August 27, 2020 that are no longer in use, helping you dispose of them according to EEE and ISO 14001 standards at no cost to you.  We attach a list of the serial numbers of the instruments that were shipped to you by us between these dates.

Why are we offering this service at no cost to you? Because between July 22, 2017 and August 27, 2020, Micromeritics shipped products containing components that did not meet the technical requirements of EU ROHS 2 Directive 2011/65/EU, as required for Category 9 products. We emphasize that this is not a health or safety issue – however, when the time comes that your Micromeritics product has reached its end-of-life stage, we are here to help you properly dispose of the unit according to ISO 14001 standards.

All new instruments we sell into the EU/UK now fully meet ROHS specifications. The crossed-out wheeled bin (WEEE) symbol is now displayed on each of our instruments. This symbol indicates that disposal of EEE product will not be as unsorted waste but will be sent to separate collection facilities for recovery and recycling. By not combining this product with ordinary household waste, the volume of waste sent to landfills will be reduced, thus preserving natural resources.
