Particulate Systems, a brand of Micromeritics Instrument Corporation, has been granted USA and international distribution of the PID Eng&Tech Microactivity-Reference as of March, 2010. The assigned territories include North America, Central America, South America (does not include Brazil), China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Benelux, United Kingdom, Germany, South Africa and Australia.
|This completely automated, compact microreactor is an advanced modular laboratory system for measuring the activity and selectivity of catalysts. The standard platform can be easily adapted to the user’s catalytic testing needs with a variety of configurations and options. The Microactivity-Reference has been designed to save time and resources at both the catalyst development stage and factory report process during catalyst screening. The system can accommodate a wide variety of reactions including hydrocracking, hydrotreating, isomerization, hydrogenation, hydrodesulphurization (HDS), oxidation, hydrodenitrogenation (HDN), polymerization, reforming (aromatization), and steam reforming, to name a few. |
The Microactivity-Reference is equipped with innovative process-control technology allowing the user to program a series of experiments on a personal computer and obtain real-time results with the highest degree of reproducibility and accuracy. It operates at pressures ranging from vacuum to 100 bar (with the same pressure control valve). The reaction temperature can range from room temperature to 1000 ºC (using special material reactors).
