Turns 100-cc and 10-cc model AccuPycs into multivolume, multipurpose instruments.
If you have the 100-cc or 10-cc chamber AccuPyc Density Analyzer and you run different amounts of sample, consider the new Multivolume Option Kit from Micromeritics. It contains two additional sample chambers that permit greater precision and repeatability when working with a broad range of sample sizes or volumes.
For instance, the Multivolume Kit(1) for the AccuPyc 100-cc analyzer (PN: 133/33002/00) contains two smaller sample chambers sized 10-cc and 35-cc. You can get three to four times greater precision using the 10-cc chamber rather than the 100-cc chamber for a small amount of sample, such as 9-cc in bulk volume or less. The same principle holds true for the 35-cc chamber as well. You can get nearly twice the resolution using the 35-cc chamber than the 100-cc chamber for samples between 10 and 34-cc in bulk volume.
Switching between these sample chambers is incredibly quick and easy. Simply slip either of the smaller chambers into the larger 100-cc chamber. That's all there is to it. In a matter of seconds, you can convert your 100-cc unit into a 35-cc or 10-cc unit. And start getting much more precision across a wider range of bulk volumes without spending a whole lot of money.
