The annual conference of the Francophone Carbon Study Society is the annual meeting of the community which is interested in the carbon material. They are covered, not exclusively, for electronics, graphite, carbon fibers and blacks, activated carbons, carbons for energy (supercapacitors, electrodes, batteries), interstellar carbon and carbon in carbon. nuclear industry, but also the most recent nanocarbon nanotubes such as nanotubes and graphenes. Other topics related to carbon are always welcome.
The annual conference of the SFEC brings together academics and industrialists, ranging from experimenters to theorists and modellers. Organized in the form of thematic conferences, oral presentations, and a poster session, it brings together around one hundred people in an isolated and friendly setting, enabling fruitful interactions and exchanges. . The participation of doctoral students is encouraged by reduced registration and accommodation fees. A lot of time will be spent on informal discussions.
