Dr. James Olivier Invited to Speak at The National Meeting of the American Chemical Society - 8/29/2003
Micromeritics' Dr. James Olivier is an invited speaker at The American Chemical Society's annual fall meeting, September 7th through 11th in New York City. He has been asked to give the opening address of the Sixth International Symposium on Advances in Fluid Cracking Catalysts. Dr. Olivier's presentation topic will be "An overview of physical adsorption methods for the characterization of finely divided and porous materials and their application to fluid cracking catalysts." His presentation will be on September 8th at 9:05 am.
An additional Symposium paper that Dr. Olivier has co-authored, entitled "Dual function cracking catalyst (DFCC) with olefins selectivity" by Mario L. Occelli, Franco Baldiraghi, James P. Olivier and A. Auroux will also be presented.
The meeting will feature 31 of the society's technical divisions, one secretariat, and six committees participating in more than 800 technical sessions. More than 6,800 papers will be presented.
An Exposition will be held in conjunction with the meeting on September 8th through 10th in Halls 1B and 1C of the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center and will be open Monday and Tuesday, 9 AM to 5 PM, and Wednesday, 9 AM to 2 PM. More than 290 companies and organizations, including Micromeritics, will display everything from instruments and books to computer hardware and scientific software.
