Micromeritics New Products Highlighted at the Recent MS&T 2007 Conference - 11/05/2007
Micromeritics recently attended the Materials Science & Technology (MS&T) Conference and Exhibition in Detroit, MI. MS&T is the global forum for the materials community to explore structure, processing and applications across multiple materials systems.
Micromeritics supports this community by manufacturing a broad line of automated analytical laboratory instruments that measure the physical characteristics of powders and solids for fundamental research, product development, quality assurance and control, production, and process control applications, including hydrogen storage. Physical characteristics determined include: Particle Size, Surface Area, Pore Volume, Pore Size and Pore Size Distribution, Absolute Density, Envelope Density, and Bulk Density, Catalytic Activity, Active Surface Area, and Strength of Adsorption Sites.
Micromeritics has released a number of new instruments that include: the AccuPyc II 1340 Gas Displacement Pycnometry System, Elzone II 5390 Particle Size Analyzer, and the ASAP 2050 Xtended Pressure Sorption Analyzer. John Guerin, Director of Global Accounts, was asked to discuss Micromeritics’ latest developments with A to Z of Materials (AZoM), a popular international ceramic industry website.
