Micromeritics Improves Data Confidence with New Certified Reference Kits
Norcross, GA, USA – July 28th, 2022.
Micromeritics Instrument Corp., a global leader in particle characterization technology, announced the release of four new certified reference material kits for measurements of BET surface area and particle size by sedimentation.
The new kits give customers greater confidence in their measurements by providing a means to regularly validate their instruments. The materials have been triple verified for accuracy and reproducibility against NIST standards, by Micromeritics’ experts, and through a third-party lab accredited to ISO 17025. The kits are designed for ease-of-use and reproducibility, with pre-weighed ready-to-measure vials and detailed instructions for preparation, data collection, and analysis.
Micromeritics Vice President of Science, Dr. Jeffrey Kenvin said, “We’ve taken an important step forward here by giving our customers a fast and accurate way to validate their instrument performance and analysis protocols. The materials are traceable to NIST so we have complete confidence in their accuracy. And the methods are detailed, so every operator in every lab can confidently trust their reporting of surface area and particle size.”
Micromeritics will continue to triple validate and release new certified reference material kits to address a broader range of applications. Learn more at micromeritics.com/products/certified-reference-materials/
